The latest version of the Proget solution is now available! We’ve introduced some highly anticipated changes and features we plan to develop further.
In this update, we have focused on making daily use even more convenient, speeding up work, and allowing administrators to customize selected system elements (such as user attributes).
A handful of key new features
- Quick actions in the single application view. Additional options have been added to the tab listing the devices on which a given application has been installed. They streamline application management, allowing, for example, uninstalling a specific app on multiple selected devices simultaneously.
- Simplified device activations. From now on, Profile Owner and Device Owner activations do not require prior integration of the Proget console with Android Enterprise. This change allows administrators to activate devices without Google services and those with limited Internet access.
- New Kiosk Profile capabilities. In it, the administrator can specify their own application activity, give it a custom name, and trigger an intent they define – thanks to a new ‘intent action’ type. Intent in an Android application is a mechanism that allows applications to communicate with each other or within themselves to perform a task.
