The latest version of the Proget solution is now available! This release introduces a range of enhancements and new features that we plan to develop further.
The update expands capabilities in application and device activation management, adds new policies and ready-to-use configuration templates (for Android Device Owner and iOS), and cleans up the way information is displayed in selected system elements.
A handful of key new features
- Application sync status. Previously, information about the status of apps installed on devices came from tasks. Now, tasks are stored in audit logs, and the actual app status is shown in a new module available under the ‘Applications’ tab on the device card. By clicking on the app of your choice, you can check its assigned permissions, the managed configuration or the status of automatic updates.
- New ‘Activations’ section in the system menu. It allows you to manage activations and view their history, as well as register devices without assigning them to user accounts. Here you will also preview lists of all activations (generated manually or automatically) and settings.
- Adding and removing users. Configuration and account management is now simpler. Enhanced synchronization mechanisms via LDAP allows for automatic addition and removal of users in the Proget system, reflecting the current state of the external directory.
